Harbor Beach

This is a yacht owner's paradise located next to the Port Everglades inlet between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic

Welcome to Harbor Beach

Commanding custom residences, water vistas and incredible ocean access all packed into an ultra-exclusive neighborhood.

Tucked near Fort Lauderdale Beach’s southern extremity – geographically along Seabreeze Boulevard / A1A south of the Bahia Mar complex and the western finger isles nearby – Harbor Beach is a luxurious oasis like few others. Here you’ll find some of Fort Lauderdale’s most impressive multi-million-dollar estates that span the architectural spectrum, particularly within the isles portion. From contemporary mansions to Tuscan-inspired abodes, these homes are about as wow-worthy as it gets. Among its amenities, the neighborhood has its own gated entry, security patrol and a private beach club with a 300-foot private beach, pavilion and marina.

On the history front, Harbor Beach’s roots may be traced to 1940, when the Harbor Beach Company purchased the 200-acre land for $200,000. Development ensued and, by the mid-1940s, the private beach club came to life. Since its inception, the neighborhood has boosted a super-exclusive vibe that still rings true eight-plus decades in.

What to Love

  • Expansive estates with dockage opportunities and water access.
  • Proximity to Fort Lauderdale Beach and high-end restaurants along it.
  • From adjacent 17th Street, seamless access to I-95, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and more.

Local Lifestyle

Secluded bliss meets incredible Fort Lauderdale convenience? This is it. The lifestyle in Harbor Beach is as ritz as it gets, with guard-gated security serving its nearly 400 custom estates. For boating lovers – from owners of mega yachts to sports boats – this location provides direct, unobstructed access to the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway and Fort Lauderdale’s iconic canals.

Beyond a stroll to the beach or up A1A to enjoy the Fort Lauderdale Beach nightlife scene, there are a number of nearby parks and community amenities within minutes. Among them, the Las Olas Oceanside Park is less than a mile north, which has a weekly farmer’s market, concerts and family activities aplenty. For volleyball lovers, Fort Lauderdale’s best games typically take place across A1A from the neighborhood, in front of B Ocean Resort. And for a family adventure, two incredible state parks – with hiking, kayaking and more – are within 10 minutes, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park.

Dining Entertainment, Shopping

By calling Harbor Beach home, you’re granted incredible proximity to some of the region’s best dining, shopping and entertainment destinations.

17th Street has an array of restaurants, spanning locally-bred fine dining establishments to beloved national chains. Among the local spots, Boatyard is a communal favorite for its mature tree-clad patio with dockage, raucous ladies night and menu with fresh daily catches and an expansive raw bar.

Carlos & Pepe’s – one of Fort Lauderdale’s most cherished, authentic Mexican restaurants – is also tucked on 17th Street. The restaurant has been in business since 1979 and its menu boasts unique concoctions like crab-topped nachos, a Mexican fondue with chorizo and sirloin filled margaritas. And, yes, there are margaritas and more margaritas, too.

For groceries, 17th Street is dotted with options including Publix, Winn-Dixie and – at the intersection of 17th Street and Federal Highway – a Whole Foods.

North of Harbor Beach, you can be to Las Olas Boulevard within 5 minutes. You can spend an entire day shopping the boutiques lining this classic street, including Guy Harvey Gallery & Shop, Lilly Pulitzer and Zola Keller.

Things to Do

Surely the community’s private beach club will be a place to be for you and yours. But just beyond the community’s limits, some of Fort Lauderdale’s biggest events are within minutes. On Fort Lauderdale Beach and in front of B Ocean Resort, two of the region’s biggest music festivals take place each year – Tortuga Music Festival for country lovers and, for alternative rock fans, Audacy Beach Festival. Just north of the community, the Bahia Mar complex is set to be Fort Lauderdale’s next big community hub in the coming years, with nearly 100,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.
