Welcome to Coral Ridge Country Club

The closest golf course in Broward to the Atlantic Ocean at your doorstep, multiple beaches within minutes and customized residential bliss.

Calling all golf, beach and single-family home lovers. Geographically, Coral Ridge Country Club delivers the best of so many worlds. The neighborhood is quietly situated east of Federal Highway / US-1, west of the Intracoastal Waterway, south of Commercial Boulevard and north of Oakland Park Boulevard. In total it boasts nearly 1,000 residences, many of which are situated on quaint canals tucked on its eastern edge. Bayview Drive provides a north-to-south route through the eastern portion of the neighborhood, where the most architecturally diverse of sweeping homes greet you.

At the neighborhood’s geographic core is Coral Ridge Country Club. Membership to the club is currently by invitation only. Among the country club’s amenities is its 18-hole golf course that was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1954 and restored by his son, Rees, in 2020. Additional amenities within the country club include 11 tennis courts, a 25-meter swimming pool and expansive club house. The history of the land and surrounding community may be traced back to the 1920s when it was previously known as the Floranada course. Today there are multiple communities – some with their own independent HOAs – surrounding the course and nearby areas.

Local Lifestyle

Perhaps you’ll opt to join Coral Ridge Country Club. Either way, this location presents near unparalleled access to recreation and lifestyle opportunities. Heading north on Bayview Drive and then within a half-mile east on Commercial Drive, you can be in the seaside village of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. The village is home to a world-class fishing pier, charming restaurants and tropical-inspired boutique shopping. To the south on Bayview Drive and then heading east on Oakland Park Boulevard, you arrive at Galt Mile’s core, which includes award-winning restaurants, one of the best sports bars in the area – Bokampers – on the Intracoastal and shopping.

On the community’s western border and on Federal Highway / US-1, daily shopping needs can be met in a matter of minutes. Also easily accessible is the world-renowned Fort Lauderdale Beach. An easy cruise south on A1A from Oakland Park Boulevard gets you to the beaches at Sunrise Boulevard, Las Olas Boulevard and all white sands in between in less than 10 minutes. A must for outdoor lovers are the kayaking and canoeing excursions at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, which is loaded with mangroves, canopy tree-covered trails and, yes, the periodic roaming turtle.

Coral Ridge Mall is located just northeast of the intersection of Oakland Park Boulevard and Federal Highway / US-1. It includes a Target, Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Homegoods and AMC Dine-In Theater. A Publix supermarket is just outside the mall, too.

North of Coral Ridge Mall and along Federal Highway / US-1 is one of Fort Lauderdale’s top taco spots, Quvo Tacos & Craft Beer. Family-owned, the restaurant has a happy hour from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays with tacos in the $3 range.

Within the Galt Mile complex, Café Martorano is one of the most celebrated Italian restaurants in the country. Operated by Philadelphia-bred chef Steve Martorano, the cozy restaurant serves massive meatballs, homemade pasta and even morphs into a club on select evenings.

On the Intracoastal on Commercial Boulevard, Kaluz Restaurant offers impeccable service and an eclectic menu with water vistas. Among its staples are a Chilean seabass, slow roasted prime rib and a memorable key lime pie. For waterfront dining, Kaluz is perfect.
